The Stair Climbing Company mission is to raise the standards of Stair Climbing solutions through innovative and dynamic products. Having worked with clients including the NHS, Lush, Serco, Care UK and Network Rail to name just a few, we offer a wide range of Stair Climbers to challenge almost any stair case. Our Stair Climbers can be used in situations to offer access at a heritage venue, in the event of a lift failure or to move heavy loads when the stairs are the only access.
With over 17 years in the disabled welfare to work sector and corporate strategy in the finance sector, Emma has both the experience and business acumen to provide the industry with the next generation of Stair Climbers. We have an exclusive UK agreement with KSP Italia and AATA Stair Robots, manufacturers of an innovative range of Stair Climbers giving The Stair Climbing Company a unique position in the UK market.
Founder of The Stair Climbing Company, David is an experienced project manager. Having worked in the oil industry for many years, David uses his expert engineering experience to advise and support businesses that require Stair Climbers to manage heavy and awkward loads. David also works closely with our manufacturers AATA International, which provides the tracked Stair Robot to manage loads of up to 1,000kg, as well as bespoke machines for one-off projects.
Prior to joining The Stair Climbing Company, Chris spent 15 years in the education sector where he picked up numerous accolades in business enterprise, innovation and sports. Now fully immersed in the mobility industry, Chris oversees the logistics, training and education development of the company, as well as implementing the processes and policies to ensure a seamless operation across the business.
Josie is our Business Co-ordinator and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day to day running of the business. Josie’s role as business co-ordinator ranges from debt chasing and customer support to logistics and new business ideas. Josie has had nearly 5 years’ experience working within an office environment alongside managing directors, senior management teams and liaising with health professionals within the healthcare sector. Josie is the main point of contact at The Stair Climbing Company and is keen on providing a first class service.
Adele has run a successful PR company, Woodthorpe Comms for over seven years. Her clients include a range of luxury lifestyle and fashion brands, with her team responsible for managing all of The Stair Climbing Company's PR activity and social media.
Fire evacuation consultant
Bill was formally a Fire Officer in the London Fire Brigade for 30 years and has been a key figure in fire evacuation in the East London Boroughs. Bill has worked with The Stair Climbing Company now for just over a year and his enthusiasm and knowledge for Stair Climbers alongside his up-to-date knowledge of the fire industry through the LFB Welfare have proven to be an effective combination.
Paul joined the team summer 2017 as our training manager. Paul has over 25 years teaching experience and has developed all of our training material and programmes for the Sky Climber and Skyline range. Paul has expert knowledge in training techniques and delivers training for individuals and large corporate groups and with the same care and attention. Paul is also responsible for carrying out LOLER tests and services.
